Yee-Haw for Hee-Haw!

George Jones looks ready to hit the gridiron! Heh. :p

Here we see the original art on the back, which is a nice touch. :)

Hard to imagine a time when country and western wasn't all-pervasive. I remember being impressed with Roy Clark's banjo skill as a youngster, but overall, I was not into country music at all, so I paid little attention to the show. I think I'd like it now, especially for the musical guests (especially anyone in bluegrass).

  1. What an awesome record! I love the liner notes. We grew up watching Hee Haw. Like a corny Laugh-In in a lot of ways, but with great music.

  2. This album has BOTH kinds of music.

What say you?
