T.G.I.F.: The Movie

Yeah, I'd never heard of this one either. ;)

Got a little lazy by reusing the main image, but cool caricatures, though.

The first LP is on the left, the second is on the right, and the middle is the bonus 12" single, as noted on the front cover. Possibly the only album I have with 3 sleeves inside.

Jeff Goldblum's in it? Maybe it's not so bad. But, T.G.I.F. or not, disco still S.U.C.K.S.*

*but seriously, there are some really good disco tunes, especially the ones that lean heavily on funk!

"Frogg" is intriguing, as is the guitar on the far right. A tenor guitar, apparently.

Endorsement from Mitch Miller is pretty huge, whether he was involved in their discovery or not.

Cars Love Jesus Too

Early inspiration for Pixar? ;) Quite the colors/brightness here. You could see this one across the room! Very cute and well done, though.

Whoa! Benny, who has quite the eyelashes, it should be noted, can also sprout arms?! Impressive car! Even Pixar can't do that. ;)

Focus!

Talking real focus, not the Dutch prog rock group.

Nice enough cover, but why does it look like her arm is the only thing that has proper focus? :p Dunno what's up at the bottom. Like the bottom of the lens was obscured somehow. Oh well.

Love these notes they'd add to albums. Not sure if they go into this stuff on modern pressings. I'm guessing no.

Surprise!

I guess this title has a dual meaning, since I haven't posted in a while. :p (people commenting on stuff would help motivate me to continue, hint, hint...)

Love the super enthusiastic stance the kid in the front has taken. We should all close our eyes that way.

The surprise? Hmm... I wonder if the image is reversed or that kid just has his shirt on inside-out. :p I also wonder if it should be titled I'VE Got a Surprise!

Let's be honest; this post's title is pretty much correct in this situation...

When I read, I'm most likely to have silence, not music on in the background. And I certainly don't sit on the floor in a skirt.

Fan Fan Dédé

Here are a couple that most viewers won't know (what else is new?)...

Yes, it's Fan Fan Dédé! I'd never heard of it before! Haha. I know it aired in Québec, though, so there is a possibility I saw it on Radio Québec. (yeah, Radio is TV, so...yeah) [Actually, scratch that, as it aire on TVA, which I only had once we got a satellite dish in the 2000s...and I think the show stopped airing in 1982] I also know (for sure!), from having looked into it (y'see...), that he is the comedian André Richard.

I like how they spell Mademoiselle as the informal pronunciation Mam'zelle. :)

Simple, and perhaps a little more direct than the other cover. I don't like it as much.

He needs a bigger head to use that phone.
