Harper Valley P.T.Eh.
Yep, it's another America-central release from Arc, a Canadian company. Actually, it's just a collection of hit songs from the period by various artists. Marlene features on four tracks.
I believe Marlene was Canadian. Maybe from around Belleville? You may have also seen her "Woman Is Boss" LP (also on Arc) around. Arc put out a lot of records, a few of them are even good!
Yep, definitely Canadian. The only thing I've found is a note at Discogs saying she's from Alliston. *shrug* Haven't come across "Woman is Boss" yet, but I have a bunch of Arc records and see them often.
