What? Symbolism? Nah...
I suppose these types of albums, despite being plentiful, always had a limited appeal. (mostly for stag parties, etc...) Not my thing, but it's definitely interesting and sort of a snapshot of the days where double entendres were good enough for most, rather than the incredibly vulgar stuff you see/hear nowadays which most seem to like. (do people need to say the F word every three seconds to be funny? I think not!)
I agree! Groucho Marx or Bob Hope with their sly innuendos were much funnier than anything going on today.
