Ol' Gun Nose

Hadn't heard of this movie before. Sounds like fun, actually. :)

Interesting how even though this is a spy spoof, and he obviously did a lot of genres, I only thought of Riz Ortolani as the one who did the soundtrack for Cannibal Holocaust. :p (yeah, I'm good at remembering things I have no interest in)

Disco Sideboob

Pretty standard discotheque duds here, at least at some places, I'm sure. That was probably considered a lot of clothing at some of those dens of decadence. :p

Much more standard duddery here. I think I'll look up that "Space Warrior" song, not to be confused with ye olde Space Power Warrior:

I still have mine, bought sometime during winter 1999, I think. Probably made to take advantage of the Phantom Menace hype.

Ok, I found "Space Warrior":

Quite good, actually! I appreciate the use of real instruments. Heh. Also, this whole thing is a Giorgio Moroder project, which is cool! :)

Heads Are Rolling

Nothing goofy today, just a great album from a band I'll definitely be listening to more of! The cover jumped out at me.

Nice, simple back cover, too.

Here's a sample from the album, "Bloody Sunday":

P.S. Chrome, for some unapparent reason, underlined 'england' and 'english' in the labels section, as if they're misspelled or nonexistent words. Huh? And now here, too! (but not 'huh.' Huh!)

Martin Mull is...Perfect?

My first Martin Mull album! I'd been hoping to come across one for a long time. And this is one of those seldom used double sleeve albums. :)

Outer sleeve front:

Lots of great stuff here. I especially like 'Increase Lifeline.' :p

Outer sleeve back:

Didn't realize it was so blurry. Might replace it sometime, but it's still legible, so we'll see.

Inner sleeve front:

Nice and simple, though certainly not inspired like the outer one.

Inner sleeve back:

'Bun and Run' is, of course, a reference to Happy Kyne's chain of restaurants in the Fernwood, Ohio area. ;) If you're not hip to that, it's from Mull's series Fernwood 2 Night, which had a second season as America 2-Night. Both are AMAZING. He and co-host Fred Willard were a great team.

Does replacing the "at" sign and period even work anymore? :p Bots are pretty smart.

TVO's The Body Works

Not sure if I've actually seen this show, but I've definitely head of it. Growing up in New Brunswick, I'd usually only see TVO programming when visiting my grandparents in Ontario or when they started carrying TVO programming on different channels. (I loved Read All About It!) Not sure if we got this one in N.B. And by the time I moved to Ontario (1998), this would've been long off the air.

I sometimes do a head swivel-type thing when my neck is sore and my mother insists that it's not good to do. Perhaps it was back in 1980? (she is prone to believing wives' tales, though)

Maybe some of my Canuckian readers will remember these kids. :)

Huzzah for gatefolds!

Is the Hesitation Jump anything like Charles Barkley's hesitation golf swing? :p (if you haven't seen it, please look it up. Hilarity will ensue, I tells ya!)
